Inspired by the situation in Lampedusa, is about a particular weather effect which Black Rain is a Turbfilm produced in collaboration with Alterazioni Video and Luca Babini. The film calls attention to the social issues surrounding illegal African immigration to the island of Lampedusa and attempts to change peoples perspectives on these immigrants. Like all Turbofilms it mixes classic genres with elements of documentary and live music. Photos taken of real immigrants used as amateur actors in the film in costume were made into a fashion story for Amica Magazine to tell the story on another platform. The film was premiered at the Milano Film Festival.
